Job summary

Kinly is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Specialist to modernise, automate and secure our global hybrid IT environment. You will design, implement and maintain cloud platforms with emphasis on Microsoft Azure, working across cloud, virtualization, storage and identity to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud, systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
• Experience with virtualization and storage such as Nutanix or VMware.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell; IaC, Python; CI/CD and Azure DevOps preferred.
• Security, backup, monitoring, patching and lifecycle management knowledge.
• Networking basics: WAN/LAN/WLAN; SD-Wan/Azure.
• English fluency; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and improve cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms, mainly in Azure.
• Manage core services: Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, virtualization, storage and related components.
• Contribute to cloud adoption, platform modernisation and migration roadmaps and delivery.
• Build reusable automation with PowerShell, IaC, CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
• Ensure availability, performance, security and resilience of infrastructure services.
• Coordinate with Security for least-privilege controls and compliance.
• Monitor health, identify trends, prevent incidents and capacity issues.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud and on-prem environments with teams and partners.
• Support backup, recovery, patching, lifecycle management and DR activities.
• Document architectures, configurations and standards.
