Job summary

Medline International BV is seeking a System Engineer to join our Infrastructure Operations team, supporting cloud platforms across Europe from the Netherlands (Utrecht) or Germany (Kleve). The role focuses on maintaining Azure cloud, AKS, and container platforms with strong DevOps practices.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in system engineering, deep Terraform/IaC experience, and proficiency with Azure, CI/CD, and container technologies. A hybrid work setup across NL/DE is available.

Qualifications

• Container-based infrastructure on AKS or Kubernetes.
• 5+ years in system engineering, infra, cloud, or DevOps.
• Terraform and IaC practices are essential.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab or Bitbucket.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Windows and Linux server management.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python is a plus.
• English proficiency; German or other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve EU Azure cloud and Kubernetes infra.
• Contribute to architecture and design of cloud platforms.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with infra, app, security, and project teams.
• Support AKS, container platforms, networking, and storage.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, and GitOps.
• Assist application teams with deployments and platform needs.
• Document standards, procedures, and platform guides.
