Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to run autonomous NP-led clinics at a GP practice in Bearsden. You will manage minor illness, perform triage, diagnose and treat undifferentiated presentations, and prescribe independently where qualified.

Join a team with strong clinical oversight and a clear clinic structure, supporting GPs and Practice Nurses while maintaining thorough documentation in the EMIS/SystmOne/Vision environments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics
• Telephone triage and patient streaming
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties
