Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES in Breda is seeking an Automated Manufacturing Technical Operator (GMP) to run and optimise automated production lines. The role combines hands-on operation with technical troubleshooting and precise documentation to support safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing.

You will set up, monitor and adjust equipment, perform root-cause analysis, collect data in SAP/MES, and contribute to continuous improvement through Lean methods.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a similar production/operator role, with automated lines experience preferred in pharma/food.
• Formal technical education per MBO / VAPRO B or equivalent.
• Solid GMP understanding and ability to follow SOPs.
• Experience with SAP/MES or similar ERP systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluent in English and willing to work shifts in Breda.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production equipment in line with SOPs and GMP
• Set up and close down activities to keep production running
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis
• Adjust settings to optimise performance and minimise downtime
• Record data in SAP/MES systems
• Complete GMP documentation
• Analyze process performance and escalate deviations
• Participate in cross-functional triage with Quality, Maintenance/Engineering, and Production
• Support Lean-based continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure clear shift handovers and team communication
• Maintain safe, compliant shopfloor
