Job summary

Bleckmann is hiring an IT Applications Support Engineer focusing on warehouse automation software to keep our operations running at scale across Europe. You’ll deliver 1st and 2nd line support for AutoStore and WCS, troubleshoot integration issues, and coordinate with suppliers while reporting to the IT Automation Manager.

You’ll work in an international team, travel between sites in the Benelux region, and contribute to ongoing improvements of Manhattan WMS and Blue Yonder Dispatcher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years in IT application support, operations, or technical support.
• Affinity with logistics or warehousing environments.
• Experience with WMS/WCS/automation systems is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Manhattan WMS (Active Omni) and/or Blue Yonder Dispatcher (JDA) is an advantage.
• Understanding of software systems, APIs, and TCP/IP or REST/Sockets.
• Fluent in English; Dutch a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1st and 2nd line software support for AutoStore and KCC WCS across Bleckmann sites.
• Log, triage, and follow up on incidents using TopDesk, prioritizing P1–P4.
• Diagnose end-to-end issues in the automation stack and WMS–WCS interfaces.
• Serve as daily contact for automation suppliers (Kardex, Addverb).
• Monitor dashboards, health checks, and alerting to identify risks.
• Support maintenance windows, software updates, and change releases.
• Analyse logs and interface data to identify recurring issues.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and runbooks; assist CRs.
• Collaborate with WMS support, infra, and operations to ensure end-to-end reliability.
• Report to the IT Automation Manager / Head of WMS Support.
