Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Industrial Automation, or Mechatronics.
• 5+ years in pharma, food, or chemical automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View SE and PlantPAx.
• Familiar with PharmaSuite or comparable MES; solid GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 knowledge.
• Clear communicator in English; Dutch is a plus; able to coach junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own PLC/DCS design across PlantPAx and PharmaSuite MES.

• Build PlantPAx apps for realtime monitoring and control.
• Implement recipe mgmt and basic PharmaSuite workflows (ISA-88/95).
• Deliver specs, FAT/SAT protocols and GAMP CSV docs.
• Serve as automation lead for process, QA and vendors; drive improvements.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Own PLC/DCS design and small-scale integrations across Rockwell PlantPAx and PharmaSuite MES.
• Configure and validate Rockwell ControlLogix PLC code for vendor skids (PW, Process Air, N₂, denatured-ethanol & CIP chemical tank farm).
• Build and test PlantPAx applications for real-time monitoring and control of stick-built equipment.
• Implement recipe management and basic workflows in PharmaSuite, aligned with ISA-88/95.
• Deliver functional/design specs, FAT/SAT protocols and GAMP 5 compliant CSV documentation.
• Act as primary automation contact for process, QA and vendor teams; drive troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Profile sought:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical / Industrial Automation / Mechatronics (or similar).
• 5+ years in (bio)pharma, food or chemical automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rockwell ControlLogix, FactoryTalk View SE and PlantPAx.
• Familiar with PharmaSuite or comparable MES; solid grasp of GMP and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Clear communicator in English (Dutch a plus); able to coach junior engineers and interface with vendors.
