FORTNA is hiring an Automation Engineer to join the Lifecycle Performance Services (LPS) team. You will lead maintenance and modification projects from sales through to on-site realization, combining engineering, project execution and customer-facing duties.

You will work with a team of specialists in control, mechanical engineering and project management to deliver high-quality solutions. You will engage in sales engineering for modifications, develop designs, and manage projects with a focus

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with industrial automation focus.
• Proven experience in industrial automation or software engineering.
• Experience in systems engineering, ideally within Material Handling Systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and specs.
• Proficient in English; Dutch and German are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC software (WinCC/STEP 7) or TIA Portal.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to engineer PLC software modifications and collaborate across functions.
