Tree Composites is seeking an Automation Engineer with a strong focus on industrial automation tasks. As Automation Engineer, you will develop and mature inhouse designed manufacturing solutions for high volume composite processing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of experience, or a Master's with hands-on automation focus.
Strong PLC programming experience.
Robotics or motion control experience is an advantage.
Ability to design and document basic electrical circuits and cabinet wiring.
Understanding of pneumatic systems.
Fluent in English; Dutch not required.
EU work permit is required.

Responsibilities

Develop automation solutions from concept to production deployment.
Define, analyse, and select hardware components to meet automation requirements.
Program, maintain, and optimize PLC software.
Develop and maintain HMI systems.
Collaborate with composite and manufacturing engineers.
Provide technical support to internal users.
Proactively propose and implement improvements to functionality and performance.
