Job summary

G2 Recruitment is working with an equipment manufacturing client near Almelo, Overijssel, Netherlands, seeking a Software/PLC Engineer to join on a permanent basis. You will work on software development and PLC engineering, collaborating with PLC programmers and hardware engineers to design and integrate automated control systems.

Requirements include a software or PLC engineering background with a bachelor’s degree or higher, experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff, and fluent Dutch.

Qualifications

G2 are currently working with an exciting client in the equipment manufacturing industry based near to Almelo, who are looking for a Software/PLC Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The client specialises in the automated machine manufacturing industry, focusing on cutting-edge equipment manufacturing projects for automated process and production lines, primarily within the food and FMCG industries.

You will be working primarily on software development and PLC engineering, alongside PLC programmers and hardware engineers, focusing on design and hardware integration for automated controls and systems.

Location: Near to Almelo, Overijssel, Netherlands

• Software or PLC Engineering background, bachelor's degree or higher
• Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff essential
• Background working with PLC/automated systems for machinery/hardware
• Experience working alongside hardware engineers very beneficial, able to work s part of a team and individually
• Professional Dutch speaking essential
