Job summary

Science@Work (SAWNL) is seeking an independent laboratory technician who enjoys hands-on work in a physical lab and is interested in automated systems. You will register and pre-treat samples and perform analyses using modern robotic equipment.

You will ensure systems run efficiently, keep chemicals and consumables stocked, and record results accurately. The role is long-term, 40 hours weekly on a three-shift schedule, with a 25% shift allowance and a potential permanent contract.

Qualifications

• MBO-level education in chemistry or laboratory technology.
• Willing to work in a three-shift schedule including nights.
• Able to work independently with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
• Good command of Dutch or English.
• Interest in automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Register and pre-treat incoming samples with colleagues.
• Perform analyses using robotic systems and other equipment.
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and maintain supplies.
• Accurately record and document results.
