Zusammenfassung

ASM is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing and R&D operations. You will work hands-on with thermal and plasma ALD systems, troubleshoot electro-mechanical and automation hardware, and collaborate with engineers to ensure peak tool reliability.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience with complex equipment, reads schematics and P&IDs, and maintains strict safety and cleanroom procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's or Bachelor's in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent military training.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with complex semiconductor equipment or automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving for electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and system diagnostics.
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, pumps, gas delivery, heaters, valves and related assemblies.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on thermal and plasma ALD equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electro-mechanical and automation-related issues on semiconductor equipment.
• Monitor tool status and alarms, escalate and resolve issues as needed.
• Support installation, modification, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve hardware and process challenges.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs to troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance, status, and findings.
• Assist with spare parts, consumables, and chemical inventory management.
• Follow cleanroom, safety, environmental, and chemical procedures per ASM standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve uptime and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
