EY in Amsterdam seeks an Audit Manager in Financial Services to lead audits, guide a talented team, and build strong client relationships. You will craft audit strategies, oversee delivery, and ensure high-quality results tailored to FS clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in accounting, finance or business.
• Minimum 5 years of auditing experience in a firm, FS preferred.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Professional accounting qualification (RA/CA/CPA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee complex audit procedures for Financial Services clients.
• Lead and develop a team of audit professionals, providing resources and growth opportunities.
• Foster client relationships to deliver tailored assurance services and drive growth.

Your new job | About your main responsibilities

As a Manager Audit FSO , you’ll be part of the Assurance Audit Financial Services team . In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Conducting intricate and targeted audit procedures, alongside crafting client-centric audit strategies.
• Guiding and overseeing a team of audit professionals, equipping them with resources, knowledge, and growth opportunities.
• Proactively fostering relationships to deliver customized services, address diverse assurance requirements, and drive business growth.
• Identifying and addressing potential risks, while innovating to enhance products and processes for increased revenue and expansion.
• Staying abreast of business trends and emerging technologies to maintain your trusted role as a business advisor.

Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution

• Bachelor/Master degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• Minimum of 5 years' auditing experience in an accounting firm, preferably with FSO clients.
• Fluency in English and preferably Dutch.
• Internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (RA, CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in US GAAP and/or IFRS.
