Job summary

IFFR seeks an Audience Development & Community Programme Coordinator to design and run initiatives that grow diverse audiences in Rotterdam. You’ll lead the Audience Development Plan, work with both internal teams and external partners, and help embed DEI across all activities from Filmclub to special events.

You’ll coordinate year-round programmes, manage invitations and rights, and contribute to ambassador initiatives while ensuring inclusive participation across the city.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in community programming or audience engagement.
• Passion for inclusion and film.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on coordination across multiple programmes.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and external partners.
• English proficiency; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the Audience Development Plan aligned with IFFR’s goals and Filmclub initiatives.
• Identify and maintain relationships with community stakeholders to improve inclusivity.
• Coordinate operational delivery of audience programmes with Programme Operations and Marketing.
• Organise year-round activities end-to-end, including invitations, rights clearance, and logistics.
• Support Ambassador Programme development to meet audience development targets.
