Job summary

BENK PROJECTS seeks an ATEX inspector to work at a refinery or tank terminal, operating in zone 1 with Ex tablet, PPE and tools. You perform visual and detailed inspections to ensure ATEX standards are met.

You will process findings with mechanics, handle outdoor and indoor days, and contribute to a safe, explosion-free environment. The role offers growth via training and a supportive consultant, with a friendly team.

Qualifications

• ATEX certification (e.g. CompEx Ex01-Ex04, IECEx).
• Good command of Dutch and English.
• Electrical or mechanical engineering background.
• Strong sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform ATEX inspections in hazardous zones and ensure compliance.
• Review planning and inspection lists with mechanics or maintenance engineers.
• Give precise reporting and clear communication.
• Work independently in an international team.
