BENK PROJECTS seeks an ATEX inspector to work at a refinery or tank terminal, operating in zone 1 with Ex tablet, PPE and tools. You perform visual and detailed inspections to ensure ATEX standards are met.
You will process findings with mechanics, handle outdoor and indoor days, and contribute to a safe, explosion-free environment. The role offers growth via training and a supportive consultant, with a friendly team.
As an ATEX inspector at, say, a large refinery or tank terminal, safety is at the center of every day. You work in hazardous areas, where a spark can be enough. In the morning you check today's planning; inspections in zone 1. With your Ex tablet, PPE and tools you check whether a number of distribution boxes still meet all ATEX standards. Sometimes you perform visual inspections and sometimes detailed inspections.
During the day, you work through your inspection lists and process your findings. You do this accurately and in cooperation with mechanics or maintenance engineers. The days are dynamic, with a lot of outdoor work one day and a lot of indoor work the next. But the most important thing is, no danger of explosion!
A fun, challenging job where you can grow with the company's ambitions. By following the right training courses, you can make steps in width or height in no time, depending on your own ambitions.
At BENK PROJECTS, personal attention is key. You will receive guidance from a fixed consultant who understands your field of expertise and will think along with you about your development. Besides that you are part of a knowledge organization in which you can spar with fellow specialists. At least as important: we provide a pleasant working atmosphere, with room for contact, short lines of communication and pleasant moments such as a summer barbecue and an atmospheric end-of-year dinner.
Of course, we also make sure you know what you're doing it for. That's why you can count on:
