Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in high-end hospitality or client-facing roles is essential.

• Ability to talk about products with enthusiasm and adapt to visitors.
• Clear, warm and well-written email communication.
• Fluent English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
• Proactive, organised, reliable and able to follow through.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and host appointments from first email to departure.
• Tell the Holthinrichs story and explain collections and craftsmanship.

About Holthinrichs

We are an independent haute horlogerie armoury based in Delft, the Netherlands, and the only watch manufacturer in the country that designs and builds its watches in-house. We create watches as wearable architecture: sculptural, personal and technically refined. Our atelier in the historic Arsenaal in Delft is open by appointment. Collectors and clients from around the world come to see where their watch is made, meet the people who make it and experience Holthinrichs up close. For many of them, that visit is where a lasting relationship with the brand begins.

The Role

You are the first person our visitors meet and the one who makes sure the atelier runs smoothly. You welcome guests, tell them about our watches and the craft behind them, and make sure every appointment feels personal and well-prepared. You work closely with sales: they lead the sales conversation, you create the experience around it. Behind the scenes, you keep the atelier organised so our watchmakers can focus on their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, clients and partners to the atelier and host appointments, from the first email to the moment they leave.
• Tell the Holthinrichs story: our collections, how our watches are made and the people who make them.
• Prepare appointments together with sales, so every visit is personal and nothing is left to chance.
• Follow up after visits with care, in close coordination with sales.
• Keep the atelier presentable and running day to day: hospitality, supplies and general organisation.
• Handle practical logistics such as shipments and the administration that comes with them, using our systems (Odoo, Google Workspace).
• Be a dependable point of contact for both the team and our visitors.

Who we are looking for

• Have experience in high-end hospitality or a client-facing role, for example in a fine hotel, restaurant, boutique or gallery.
• Have a real interest in watches, craftsmanship or design. You don't need to be an expert yet, but you want to become one.
• Can talk about a product with real enthusiasm and adapt to who is in front of you, from a curious first-time visitor to a seasoned collector.
• Write clear, warm and carefully written emails.
• Are fluent in English and Dutch. Additional languages are a plus.
• Notice what needs to happen before anyone asks.
• Work in an organised, reliable way and always follow through.
• Enjoy giving people a memorable experience, also when no one is watching.
