Super Micro Computer B.V. in the Netherlands seeks an Associate Repair Engineer to join the RMA/Repair Department. The role requires repairing servers with soldering skill and overseeing repair processes within a team environment.

You will lead technicians, train new staff, and develop SOPs for testing while ensuring documentation and knowledge sharing. This position emphasizes reliable repairs and timely delivery to customers.

Formación

• Diploma or above in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in computer or server hardware repair and troubleshooting.
• Experience in leading or mentoring junior technicians is a plus.
• Willing to learn new product knowledge and conduct testing.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead team members to complete server repairs according to the schedule and assist them in resolving technical issues.
• Train new team members on server repair procedures and provide support to the testing team when needed.
• Develop clear and easy-to-follow testing SOPs for technicians. After resolving a problem, complete the required documentation and share it with the team.
• Study the testing SOP whenever a new server model is announced, and share repair experiences with team members to continuously improve team capability.
• Ensure repaired products are returned to customers on schedule, and regularly monitor team members’ repair progress and quality.

Job Summary:
