Job summary

NewCold Digital seeks an Associate Network Architect to strengthen our global, highly automated network. You will design, standardize, and progressively own network architectures across regions, working with Cisco, Fortinet, and modern automation tools.

You will translate business and security needs into scalable, secure designs, develop high-/low-level designs and documentation, and contribute to SDA, Zero Trust, and IaC efforts while collaborating with Global and Regional Digital teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in enterprise networking with hands-on engineering and design.
• Strong routing/switching expertise, Cisco technologies, and security handling.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF and multi-site networks.
• Experience with Python/Ansible for automation and IaC.
• Ability to craft technical designs, standards, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and cross-border collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to global network architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
• Translate business and security needs into scalable network designs.

Your roleas Associate Network Architect

To support our global growth, we are strengthening our network architecturecapabilities. We are looking for an Associate Network Architect who combinesextensive hands‑on networking expertise with strong design skills and aninterest in automation, security, and modern infrastructure.

Working closely with our Network Architect and engineering teams, you willhelp design, standardize, and continuously improve NewCold's global networkinfrastructure. You will contribute to architectural standards and technologydecisions while progressively taking ownership of network designs andarchitecture activities.

This is an opportunity for an experienced network engineer to develop intoan independent Network Architect, working with technologies such as Cisco andFortinet in a global, highly automated operational environment.

What willyou do?

• Contribute to NewCold's global networkarchitecture, design principles, technical standards, and technologyroadmaps.
• Translate business, operational, and securityrequirements into scalable, secure, and standardized network designs.
• Develop and maintain high-level and low-leveldesigns, reference architectures, and technical documentation.
• Progressively take ownership of network designs,architecture reviews, and technical decisions.
• Support the evolution of Software-Defined Access(SDA), network segmentation, and Zero Trust networking.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize networksolutions using Cisco, Fortinet, and other enterprise networkingtechnologies.
• Develop and maintain network automation usingPython, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Contribute to standardized configurations,automated deployments, and Zero Touch Provisioning.
• Support network design and automation forhigh-performance infrastructure, including NVIDIA networking technologieswhere applicable.
• Evaluate new technologies and improve networkreliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with Global and Regional Digitalteams, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, and warehouse automationstakeholders.
• Contribute to new warehouse implementations,network migrations, infrastructure modernization, and internationaltechnology projects.
• Collaborate with vendors and technology partnerson technical designs, evaluations, and complex challenges.
• Share expertise, documentation, and architecturalguidance with engineering and project teams.
• Occasional international travel may be required.

Requiredskills and experience:

• Approximately 7+ years of experience inenterprise networking, including hands‑on engineering and network design.
• Strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching,wireless networking, and enterprise network technologies.
• Experience with network security, segmentation,and firewall technologies, preferably Fortinet.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocolsincluding BGP and OSPF, and network security principles.
• Experience designing and implementing complex,multi-site network environments.
• Experience with network scripting or automation,preferably Python or Ansible.
• Ability to develop technical designs, standards,and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcommunication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively acrossinternational teams and technical disciplines.
• Professionalproficiency in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE,Catalyst, and Nexus technologies.
• Knowledge of Software-Defined Access, Zero Trustnetworking, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA/Mellanox networkingtechnologies.
• Experience with major network migrations,automated industrial environments, or logistics operations.
• RelevantCisco, Fortinet, or equivalent certifications.
• A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
