Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd in the Netherlands seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer to support routine design tasks under supervision. You will apply established electrical procedures, perform basic calculations, and develop familiarity with project scopes and inter-discipline interfaces.

You will work with a team of engineers and designers, receive mentoring from senior staff, and contribute to design reports, sketches, and database updates while building practical industry experience in oil

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering required.
• 0-3 years experience in oil and gas preferred.
• Learning standards, codes, and guidelines as applicable.
• Learning design techniques and analysis methods.
• Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering society preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations on basic engineering tasks.
• Apply knowledge and skills to complete routine assignments under close supervision and mentoring.
• Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses, including design reports and procedures.
• Organize work to meet deadlines and communicate progress to lead engineers.
• Develop awareness of project scope, costs, and inter-discipline requirements.
• Create electrical one-line diagrams and sketches to guide designers.
