Job summary

Redcare Pharmacy in the Netherlands seeks a senior Finance leader responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, inventory accounting, and ESG reporting. You will consolidate information for the group and collaborate with multiple functions to drive accurate, timely reporting.

Based in Sevenum or Cologne, this role blends hands-on accounting with strategic input, leading a team of professionals and ensuring CSRD/ESRS and IFRS standards are met for the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, ideally with an audit background and international scope.
• Strong IFRS knowledge; ESRS/CSRD familiarity is a plus.
• CPA or Dutch RA certification is preferred.
• Excellent cross-functional interaction and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Execute and lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the group.
• Drive inventory accounting with timely, accurate results with other departments.
• Oversee non-financial reporting in line with CSRD/ESRS requirements.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and support group audits.
• Prepare the consolidated annual report and ensure accuracy.
• Provide strategic input as senior contact for consolidation and reporting.
• Coach a team of about 5 accounting professionals.

About the role:

In this leadership role, you’ll work with a passionate team that sits at the core of our Finance department. You’ll be responsible for three impactful pillars: financial reporting, non‑financial (ESG) reporting, and inventory accounting. This is a unique opportunity to shape how Redcare consolidates and communicates key performance information across the group—both hands‑on and at a strategic level.

About your tasks:

• Execute and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes across the group
• Drive inventory accounting processes and ensure timely, accurate results in collaboration with multiple departments in the company
• Oversee and execute non-financial reporting in line with CSRD/ESRS requirements
• Ensure full IFRS compliance and support group audit processes
• Prepare the consolidated annual report, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with reporting standards
• Provide strategic input and guidance as the senior point of contact for consolidation, accounting, and reporting matters
• Coach and work alongside a team of ~5 accounting professionals, building expertise and delivering results together

Qualifications

About you:

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, ideally with an audit background and international scope
• Strong IFRS knowledge, with ESRS/CSRD familiarity considered a plus
• CPA or Dutch RA certification preferred
• You're comfortable navigating across departments and engaging with diverse stakeholders
• English proficiency required; Dutch or German is an advantage
• You care about accuracy, structure, and enabling better business decisions through data

This role can be based in either our Cologne or Sevenum office. Whichever you choose will be your primary location with regular (weekly) on‑site presence; occasional (bi-weekly - monthly) visits to the other office are also part of the role.
