Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel International AG in Tiel zoekt een Assistant Supervisor voor het FMCG-warehouse. Je bestuurt een shift, verdeelt werkzaamheden en bewaakt KPI's, met focus op proactieve procesverbetering en personeelsinzet.

Je werkt in een two-shift setup (mogelijk 3), hebt minimaal MBO-niveau en minimaal 1 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in logistiek. Je spreekt Engels en werkt zelfstandig aan veilige en efficiënte goederenontvangst, opslag en verzending.

Qualifications

• MBO-niveau werk- en denkvermogen.
• Minimaal 1 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in logistiek of productie.
• U spreekt Engels.
• Beschikbaar voor een 2-ploegendienst, mogelijk uitbreiding naar 3 ploegen.

Responsibilities

• Onafhankelijk een shift beheren, werktoewijzingen verdelen, werkmethoden aansturen en uitvoering monitoren.
• Zorg voor nauwkeurige activiteitregistratie en administratie.
• Ondersteunen van de Supervisor en bij afwezigheid vervangen.
• Zelfstandig identificeren, oplossen en voorkomen van procesverstoring in het magazijn.
• Zorgen voor ontvangst, opslag en verzending van goederen volgens procedures.
• Zorgen dat al het werk volgens veiligheidsnormen en -procedures wordt uitgevoerd.

At our site in Tiel, the logistics of our FMCG department are handled, where you switch between the e-commerce side and the warehouse. As Assistant Supervisor, it is your task to ensure that the desired KPIs are achieved and that staff are deployed optimally from an operational perspective. Sometimes, a KPI may not be met—and that's okay! However, it's important that you, as Assistant Supervisor, can clearly explain to the manager or supervisor what you need or what went wrong. Together, you look for a solution and anticipate future challenges. Occasionally, you’ll step in where needed, but for 80% of the time, you lead and adjust processes before issues arise. Do you notice an area becoming busier? Then you're the one who identifies this and deploys extra staff in time to keep the workflow smooth.

• Independently managing a shift, distributing work assignments, instructing work methods, and monitoring execution;
• Ensuring accurate activity registration and administration;
• Supporting the Supervisor and substituting in their absence;
• Independently identifying, resolving, and preventing process disruptions within the warehouse;
• Ensuring the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods in accordance with work procedures;
• Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and procedures.
