Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor for our Roosendaal campus. You will lead a team of warehouse operators, drive daily operations, and apply LEAN principles to improve performance. You report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work daytime shifts from 06:00 to 19:00.

You will mentor staff, monitor productivity, ensure compliance, and manage stock of consumables and packaging materials. The role offers a path for professional growth within CEVA Logistics.

Qualifications

Intermediate vocational education (MBO) level.
Proven leadership experience in logistics, retail, or FMCG.
Solid understanding of warehousing processes and automated information systems.
Good command of the English language, both spoken and written; Dutch is considered a plus.
Knowledge and skills in Excel like formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

Coordinating, guiding, motivating and inspiring a team of Operators and Flex workers.
Monitoring and adjusting operational progress and daily capacity requirements.
Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
Solving issues that employees are not allowed or able to resolve themselves.
Managing the stock of consumables and packaging materials within your department.

YOUR ROLE

At our campus in Roosendaal, we are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Warehouse Supervisor. In this versatile role, you will coordinate a team of Warehouse Operators and ensure that daily operations run smoothly. You will lead the team, monitor progress and productivity, and make sure processes are carried out according to plan. An important part of your role is applying the LEAN philosophy, driving continuous improvement within the operation.

As an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead a team on a daily basis. You act as a mentor and coach, fostering a positive working atmosphere where team spirit is key. Collaboration with colleagues is an important part of your role. You will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. The position is based on our campus in Roosendaal. And the working hours are daytime shifts: between 06:00 and 19:00.

Your responsibilities as an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor include:

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

Your workplace is in Roosendaal, where we have a whole campus of multiple warehouses! There, you will become part of the Warehouse Operations Team, consisting of 2 Assistant Warehouse Supervisor and a team of 8-15 employees. Together, you ensure that orders are processed correctly and the customer is happy. You do this within a driven and professional atmosphere, where there is plenty of room for fun and connection!

Travel allowance from 10.0 km home-work distance;
