Modexpress, a fast-growing logistics company in Helmond, Netherlands, invites motivated logistics workers to join and grow within the warehouse. In the first year you rotate through all departments and receive training to understand our logistics processes.

After one year, we assess potential to start a development plan toward becoming a Superuser with more responsibility; if not, you continue as a Logistics Worker. The role offers a one-year contract and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Rotate through all departments in the warehouse to understand processes.
Inbound operations: receive, check, register in WMS, assist planning.
Outbound B2C: pick/pack, register in WMS, prepare parcels for dispatch.
Returns: handle efficiently and identify improvement opportunities.
Outbound B2B: process bulk orders, pack, ship, perform quality checks.
Expedition: load/unload, coordinate shipments and carrier pickups.

Are you ready to work as a logistics worker but also have the ambition to grow into a role with more responsibility? Modexpress offers you the opportunity to develop within a year, with the goal of starting a development plan towards the role of Superuser after this year.

At Modexpress, we are looking for logistics workers with growth potential who want to develop within our warehouse. In the first 12 months, you will have the opportunity to work in all departments within the warehouse. You will receive a one-year contract, during which we will provide guidance and training to help you understand all aspects of our logistics process.

After one year, we will assess together whether there is potential to start a development plan towards becoming a Superuser (with more responsibility within the team). If there is no potential for growth into the Superuser role but we are positive about your performance, you can continue working as a Logistics Worker.

Your Main Tasks

In your first 12 months, you will rotate through all departments within our warehouse. The goal is to understand the different logistics processes and systems to gain a full understanding of the logistics operations within our warehouse. After one year, we will assess whether you can start a development plan to become a Superuser, where you will take on more responsibility.

You Will Actively Participate In The Following Processes

Inbound Operations

Receive and check deliveries for accuracy and condition.
Register goods in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Help improve inbound flow and solve issues (e.g. damaged or missing items).
Support the team lead in planning and coordination.

Outbound B2C (E-commerce)

Pick and pack customer orders with care and accuracy.
Scan and register outbound goods in WMS.
Prepare parcels for dispatch via carriers (PostNL, DHL, DPD).
Support initiatives to improve outbound flow and reduce errors.

Returns Process

Handle returned goods efficiently and accurately.
Identify common return reasons and support improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Inbound, and Quality Control to streamline the returns process.
Contribute to projects aimed at reducing return-related costs and improving customer satisfaction.

Outbound B2B

Process bulk orders for business customers.
Ensure accurate packing and shipping.
Perform quality checks before dispatch.
Support the team lead and contribute to workflow optimization.

Expedition

Load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
Coordinate daily shipments and carrier pickups.
Communicate with internal teams to resolve transport issues.
Register shipments and assist with documentation.
