Job summary

JD Sports Netherlands in Venlo is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service under the guidance of the Store Manager. You will energize the floor, manage targets and visuals, ensure safety, mentor staff, recruit talent, and collaborate with retail, visual merchandising and People teams to uphold JD standards across the store.

Help run JD Sports in Venlo by leading the team, driving sales and great customer service, managing targets, visuals, safety, and talent development with the Store Manager.

• Experience: At least 1 year as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role where you were responsible for managing teams in the retail sector.


• Time management: Efficiency is essential.


• Top communication skills: Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication abilities.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
