7 For All Mankind stores are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales and leading a high-performing team. You will analyze weekly and period results, develop action plans to improve performance, and ensure a positive customer experience in-store.

In this role you will train staff on product knowledge, store operations, and brand standards, while managing schedules, stock, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience or similar leadership role.

ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

SUMMARY

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in motivating and inspiring the team while maximizing store profitability through the achievement of KPI targets.

The successful candidate will assist in analyzing week-to-date, period-to-date, and year-to-date performance results, developing action plans to drive top-line sales and improve overall performance.

He/She ensures that both individual and team capabilities are effectively leveraged to create a positive staff and customer experience, while consistently inspiring the team and clients to embrace our brand, lifestyle image, and products.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Create a welcoming environment for customers by greeting, assisting, and ensuring an elevated in-store experience.
• Support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and implementing company service standards.
• Train and coach staff on product knowledge, store operations, retail policies and procedures, and brand values.
• Partner with the Store Manager to identify training needs and provide ongoing development support to the team.
• Assist in achieving inventory shrink targets through effective communication and enforcement of loss prevention and inventory control policies.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to analyze KPIs and drive key merchandise categories.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards and brand guidelines are consistently implemented.
• Oversee timely processing of deliveries and replenishment of the sales floor.
• Prepare and manage weekly staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage during holidays, sickness, and peak trading periods.
• Support performance management processes, including appraisals and disciplinary procedures, in collaboration with Management and HR.
• Be fully proficient in operating the POS system and using reporting tools to analyze business performance.
• Follow all procedures related to store security, safeguarding staff, company assets, cash handling, and inventory.
• Take full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
