Hotelprofessionals - ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport zoekt een Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. Je geeft leiding aan een team van circa 35 F&B-collega’s en werkt nauw samen met de F&B Manager, 6 superviseurs en de Head Chef.

Je coacht en motiveert medewerkers, plant dagelijkse operaties en bewaakt budgetten en voorraden. Je identificeert kansen voor productiviteit en omzet en stuurt op gasttevredenheid en servicekwaliteit.

Qualifications

• Een afgerond HBO-diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management of een gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een supervisor- of managementrol in Food & Beverage.
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels (bij voorkeur beide).

Responsibilities

• Trainen en coachen van teamleden om uitstekende service te leveren.
• Coördineren van dagelijkse operationele activiteiten binnen de afdeling.
• Optimaliseren van personeelsplanning en efficiëntie van de operatie.
• Budgets monitoren, voorraad beheren en kansen voor productiviteit en omzet identificeren.
• Zorgdragen voor feedback van gasten en continue verbeteringen in servicekwaliteit.

This is what you will do:

As our Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you understand that great food, excellent service, and a motivated team are at the heart of every memorable guest experience. Working alongside our Food & Beverage Manager, you'll play a key role in leading our Food & Beverage department and ensuring the smooth operation of all outlets. You'll be the connection between the F&B Manager, 6 supervisors, our Head Chef, and a team of around 35 enthusiastic Food & Beverage colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include training and coaching team members to deliver outstanding service, coordinating daily operational activities across the department, and optimizing staffing and scheduling to ensure efficient and productive operations. You'll also support the Food & Beverage Manager in monitoring budgets, managing stock levels, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, revenue, and overall departmental performance. In addition, you will take ownership of guest feedback, helping to drive continuous improvements in service quality and guest satisfaction.

As a people manager, you'll have an important role in coaching, motivating, and developing your team. You have a commercial mindset and are always looking for opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, team performance, and financial results across our Food & Beverage outlets. You enjoy creating structure in a fast-paced operation, have a strong eye for detail, and know how to turn challenges into opportunities.

You are an approachable and inspiring manager who enjoys coaching and developing people. With your hands-on mentality, analytical mindset, and positive attitude, you motivate your team to deliver exceptional service every day. You are flexible and comfortable working in rotating shifts, leading by example whenever needed.

In addition, you bring:

• A completed HBO degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within Food & Beverage
• A passion for Hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences!
