Job summary

Waldorf Astoria Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Banqueting Manager to oversee all banquets and events, ensuring an exceptional guest and member experience in a luxury setting.

You will lead operational and administrative duties for Banquets/Events, drive guest satisfaction, manage costs, train staff, and collaborate with the G&C&E Supervisor to elevate range and quality while upholding health, safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
• Experience in luxury environment
• Proven ability to deliver guest service

An Assistant Banqueting Manager with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts is responsible for managing all banquets and events in the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.

What will I be doing?

• Manage all Banquets/Events operationally and administratively.

An Assistant Banqueting Manager serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations are always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.

• Strong knowledge of hotel/leisure/service sector

• Record of success in Operational Group, Conference & Events departments, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer loyalty

• Exceptional communication skills

• Exceptional leadership skills to create a winning team

• G,C&E Operations experience in a managerial position in hotel/Events Centre

• Team player

• Great organisational skills and flexible to adapt to any situation

• In the possession of a valid working permit and residence permit for the Netherlands

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent

• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service

• Experience in luxury environment
