Job summary

HAIMER is seeking an Applications Engineer for the Netherlands to manage the complete HAIMER product range with a focus on machine installations, maintenance, and customer trainings. After introductory training, you will independently perform application engineering services for customers in the Netherlands.

Your role includes conducting trainings, supporting pre- and post-sales inquiries by phone and on-site, and regular travel across the Netherlands; home office with a Nijmegen desk.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education, ideally with further formation in mechanical engineering.
• First technical expertise required.
• Experience or knowledge of machine tool and cutting tool industry is advantageous.
• Phone-based customer service experience preferred.
• Independent work ability with an entrepreneurial mindset and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Handle application engineering services for HAIMER customers in the Netherlands.
• Conduct customer trainings and provide pre- and post-sales support.
• Answer technical sales inquiries by phone and on-site; participate in trade shows and travel across the Netherlands.
