Job summary

HAIMER is seeking an Applications Engineer in the Netherlands to support customer training and technical inquiries. This role requires technical education in mechanical engineering, customer service experience, and proficiency in PC applications. The position involves high volume travel throughout the Netherlands and provides the opportunity to work independently after training. Qualifications

• Completed technical education, ideally with further formation in mechanical engineering.
• First technical expertise required.
• Knowledge in the machine tool and cutting tool industry is an asset.
• Experience in customer service on the phone and direct is preferable.
• Proficient in PC skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
• Openness to high volume travel throughout The Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer trainings and provide pre and after sales support.
• Handle technical sales inquiries by phone and on-site.
• Participate in trade shows and exhibitions.
• Perform application engineering services independently for customers.
