Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Tech Lead, Android Core Product based in the Netherlands. This strategic role shapes a fast-growing mobile product used by millions, owning features end-to-end and collaborating with Product, Design, QA and Engineering teams.

You will mentor peers, evolve the Android architecture, and push for reliable, high-quality releases in a highly distributed, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering, with hands-on Android development.
• Proven experience building production-quality Android apps.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android tooling (Coroutines, Flow, Jetpack).
• Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
• Good testing mindset with automated tests for reliability.

Responsibilities

• Own major Android features end-to-end, defining, building, testing and delivering high-quality experiences.
• Shape the Android engineering team's direction with architectural thinking and product-focused decisions.
• Monitor, maintain and improve reliability metrics for key features, addressing risks proactively.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering and QA to align solutions with user needs.
• Review pull requests and provide feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
• Own critical incidents and drive rapid resolution of technical challenges.
• Manage feature releases and provide nightly builds to QA for thorough testing.
