Job summary

NS is hiring an Android Developer to maintain and enhance the NS app. You will deliver user-friendly features for journey planning, booking, and customer service, while collaborating with UX designers and product teams.

You will work in a DevOps environment, focusing on code quality, testing, and staying current with Android trends. Remote/hybrid options and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of Android development with Kotlin, Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Clean Architecture and unit/espresso testing.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
• Willingness to learn and stay updated on Android developments.
• Ability to communicate in Dutch or English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the NS Android app.
• Build user-friendly features for journey planning, booking, support, and personalization.
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate needs into interfaces.
• Work with BA and PO to convert requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain code quality and coverage while addressing legacy code.
