About This Role

As an Analytics Engineer at Just Eat Takeaway.com, you will join our dynamic tech team to build and scale data and analytics solutions that power our local markets and global leadership. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data analysts and business stakeholders to translate complex data into reliable pipelines and clear visual insights. We are looking for someone who embodies our values to lead, deliver, and care while driving a customer-centric approach to innovate our global data platform.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines using dbt, SQL, and modern cloud technologies.
• Craft intuitive dashboards in Tableau and clear executive assets in Google Slides and Sheets.
• Partner with data analysts and business stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Implement data quality checks, pipeline monitoring, and governance practices for high reliability.
• Automate workflows, standardize data modeling, and maintain clean, scalable codebases.
• Explore modern stack tools, orchestration, and AI solutions to optimize reporting workflows.
• Participate actively in global Agile teams, fostering collaboration and helping peers succeed.

What will you bring to the team?

• Strong hands-on experience with dbt, SQL, relational databases, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Demonstrated mastery in building high-impact Tableau dashboards and presenting insights effectively.
• Proactive ownership and a get-things-done attitude to drive projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring modern data tooling, automation, and AI solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP/BigQuery), Python scripting, orchestration tools (Airflow/Dagster), or Git is a plus.
