Wilshire seeks a (Senior) Analyst to join its global Private Markets investment team in Amsterdam. You will evaluate and monitor private market investments across Europe, gaining exposure to the full investment process within a leading platform.

This is ideal for an analytically minded professional who thrives in an international, collaborative setting and wants to contribute to investment decisions with rigorous due diligence and research capabilities.

Qualifications

• MSc in finance, economics, engineering, or business-related studies.
• Internship or prior experience with management consulting or financial services preferred (0–3 years).
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and qualitative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support research and due diligence across private markets (private equity, venture capital, private credit, private real assets) in Europe.
• Assist with market research, manager evaluation, investment analysis, and preparation of materials for committees.
• Monitor private markets investments and contribute to research process improvements.

Job Description

As a (Senior) Analyst, you will be an integral member of Wilshire’s global Private Markets investment team. You will support the evaluation, selection and monitoring of private markets investments across Europe, while gaining exposure to the full investment process in a leading platform.

What you’ll do:

• Support research and due diligence efforts across all private market segments (private equity, venture capital, private credit, private real assets) in Europe.


• Contribute throughout the investment process, including market research, manager evaluation, investment analysis, preparation of investment materials and committee presentations.


• Assist with the ongoing monitoring of private markets investments.


• Contribute to the continued development of the team’s research capabilities, processes and investment insights.

Qualifications

What you have:

• MSc. in finance, economics, engineering, or business-related studies


• Internship and/or prior experience with a management consulting or financial services firm preferred (0-3 years of work experience)


• A self-starter who is hard working and results oriented


• Strong verbal and written English communication skills


• A passion for excellence


• An entrepreneurial bent and a “roll-up-the-sleeves” orientation


• Excellent analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)


• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)


• An easygoing and team-oriented personality


• A high degree of integrity and professionalism


• Interest in leveraging approved AI-enabled tools to streamline work processes, enhance productivity, and support high-quality outputs, while applying sound judgment, attention to detail, and adherence to firm policies.
