Job summary

A leading cleaning service provider in Amsterdam is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join their housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, and responding to guest requests. Previous experience in cleaning is preferred, but not required. Candidates must have the ability to perform physical tasks and possess strong communication skills. This position requires a work permit and offers 38 hours per week at a rate of 14.83 Euro per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform tasks like standing and lifting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and change linens; dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas like corridors and stairwells.
• Remove and transport soiled linens to the laundry area.
• Respond professionally to guest requests and report issues.
• Follow health and safety standards during cleaning tasks.
