Job summary

CCS Cleaning in Amsterdam is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join the housekeeping team. You will clean, maintain, and prepare guest rooms and public areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

You will work closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other team members, contributing directly to guest experience and hotel standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail, physical stamina for 38-hour weeks, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation: make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, sanitize bathrooms, replenish amenities.
• Public Area Maintenance: keep corridors, stairwells, and housekeeping closets clean; manage trash/recycling.
• Laundry & Linen Management: transport soiled linens to laundry; restock clean linens and towels.
• Inventory & Supplies: maintain housekeeping cart supplies and restock cleaning products, linen, and amenities.
• Guest Service: respond to guest requests and report safety issues to supervisor.
• Safety & Compliance: follow health and safety standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Quality Assurance: perform self-inspections and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Team Collaboration: communicate with team members and supervisors; assist with training if needed.
