Job summary

Maven Securities in Amsterdam offers a nine-week Summer Trader Internship, starting in London with options theory classes, then moving to Amsterdam for trading simulation and shadowing across desks.

You’ll learn options market making, pricing theory, and risk concepts, with in-house trainers and exposure to AI tools. High-potential interns may progress to the Graduate Trader Programme the following year.

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the region at the time of application.
• Must be a penultimate-year undergraduate or master's student.
• Must not have applied for any other Maven programmes in this cycle.

Responsibilities

• Build practical trading skills in the simulation environment and apply learning to real market scenarios.
• Use the same tools as traders or develop your own, observing live market trades.
• Shadow and interact with traders across desks to learn day-to-day approaches.
• Participate in a Reading Week, working independently on a project.
