Job summary

House of Rituals in Amsterdam seeks a General Manager to lead a flagship destination that blends retail, hospitality and brand experiences. You will direct Sales, Marketing, Operations and Events, with a franchise café component, guiding a team of about 30 FTE and ensuring a premium customer journey.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to drive commercial results while collaborating with local and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, events or other branded customer environments.
• Strong in-store experience, with time spent close to the shop floor.
• Experience leading flagship, multi-floor or complex, high-volume locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the House of Rituals and drive performance across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Events.
• Oversee Rituals Café through the franchise manager and align cross-functional teams.
• Set the standard for leadership, collaboration and execution across the building.
• Drive commercial and operational excellence and ensure premium customer experiences.
• Foster a test-and-learn mindset and translate insights into improvements.
• Build strong teams and relationships with internal and external partners.
