Job summary

Bayards Aluminium Solutions is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabrication Employee to join our Production team. You will transform engineering drawings into high‑quality aluminium structures for offshore, civil infrastructure, defence, and transport projects.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, preparing constructions, assembling parts, and performing tack welds while ensuring dimensional accuracy. You will work closely with welding, assembly, and finishing colleagues under the foreman

Qualifications

• A technical vocational qualification (MBO or equivalent) in metalwork, fabrication, or mechanical engineering.
• Several years of experience in sheet metal or fabrication work; aluminium experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
• Preparing constructions by cutting, drilling, bending, and fitting aluminium parts.
• Assembling and building aluminium structures according to drawings.
• Performing tack welds and verifying dimensional accuracy.
• Setting up tools, jigs, and workbenches.
• Collaborating with colleagues from welding, assembly, and finishing departments to achieve the best results.
