Job summary

Medtronic plc in the Netherlands is seeking a Logistics Operator to ensure accurate handling and timely delivery of life-saving medical products. You will register and inspect incoming goods, perform put-away, and maintain GDP and safety standards throughout the warehouse.

The role requires basic knowledge of manufacturing/distribution processes and the ability to operate production equipment, with a focus on quality and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or supply chain operations.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing or distribution processes, operational procedures, systems and tools.
• Ability to operate production machinery/equipment and follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to identify equipment malfunctions, process abnormalities and operational issues, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and the ability to support or guide new and entry-level colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and register incoming goods in the warehouse system SAP/WMS.
• Perform visual checks on incoming goods to determine whether medical components can go back to stock.
• Prepare and/or perform put away for medical components to the correct destination in the warehouse.
• Always Follow Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 6S, lean projects).
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, team leaders, and support departments.

As an All-round Operator within Spinal Loaner Services, you are responsible for accurate and timely handling of medical products. Your role ensures that products meet strict quality and safety requirements from receipt through to delivery.

• Ability to perform routine operational tasks, apply sound judgement and make decisions within defined procedures.
• Effective communication with internal stakeholders and the ability to support or guide new and entry-level colleagues.

The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
