Job summary

Metyis in Amsterdam is seeking an AI Solution Engineer with 1-4 years of experience to join our Data & Analytics team. This full-time role focuses on designing and delivering AI-powered solutions across data foundations, knowledge graphs, and RAG pipelines.

You will collaborate with central and local data teams, apply prompt and harness engineering, and ensure robust, scalable AI workflows aligned with enterprise governance. Fluency in English and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of professional experience in software, data, or AI roles.
• Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (Python a plus).
• Experience building LLM-based systems and orchestration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, data lineage and governance.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine AI solutions from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with central and local data teams to build the context layer (knowledge graphs, ontologies, governance graphs).
• Apply advanced prompt, memory, and harness engineering to maximize model performance.
• Translate business needs into AI-enabled workflows and use cases.
• Stay updated on AI models, tools, and frameworks and bring innovations to the team.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, governance-aligned agentic AI systems.
• Document methodologies and context engineering standards for reusable knowledge.
