What can we do with AI in our business? It is the question we hear most from ambitious SMEs, and the one that almost never has a simple answer. OWOW is looking for an AI Solutions Consultant who can turn that question into a clear plan and a concrete path forward, tailored to the business in front of them. Someone who listens with discipline, thinks commercially, and uses AI tools to move faster than a traditional consultant.

About your role

OWOW has been building custom software for years. As a next step, we are scaling our discovery practice as a structured, productized service that opens the door to longer client engagements and recurring revenue. Discoveries are how we turn vague client ambitions into validated, fundable initiatives, whether that is an AI‑powered order processing solution, an automation roadmap or a digital transformation programme.

As our Solutions Consultant, you take ownership of these discoveries from first contact to final presentation. You sit down with operational staff, middle management and C‑level stakeholders, map their processes and data landscape, identify where AI and automation can create real value, and translate that into a roadmap and business case that your client is ready to invest in.

You work end‑to‑end: from kick‑off, through deep‑dive sessions and analysis, to a go/no‑go presentation with concrete pricing and timeline. You bridge between client stakeholders and our delivery teams. You also help us standardise and scale the discovery practice itself, so that the next ten engagements are sharper than the last.

What you will work on and what we expect from you

Your responsibilities and ownership

• Lead client discovery engagements end‑to‑end, from intake through to go/no‑go presentation.
• Facilitate one‑to‑two hour deep‑dive sessions with operational and management stakeholders, drawing out tacit knowledge and identifying friction.
• Map current processes, systems and data flows across ERP, legacy tooling and informal workarounds.
• Identify high‑impact AI and automation opportunities and translate them into a phased roadmap.
• Build the business case: ROI, break‑even, pricing, and the proposal for the follow‑up trajectory.
• Present the discovery output to senior client stakeholders and close the follow‑on engagement.
• Use AI tooling (Fireflies, Claude, Gemini) actively during and after sessions to compress analysis time and prototype outputs quickly.
• Work closely with our product, engineering and design teams to ensure scope is buildable and pricing is honest.
• Help shape the discovery practice itself, contributing templates, frameworks and patterns that scale.

What we expect from you

• You take ownership of the full discovery, not just the analysis or the deliverable.
• You listen first and structure later. You do not solve in the room before you understand the problem.
• You stay calm when a session gets messy, and you can re‑anchor a conversation without taking over.
• You think commercially without acting like a salesperson. You know when to push back on a client and when to let go of a deal.
• You are comfortable in front of operational teams in the morning and a C‑level audience in the afternoon.
• You combine consulting craft with builder instinct: enough technical fluency to prototype with AI tools and have credible conversations with engineering.

Job requirements

Your experience and skills

• Minimum of three years of experience in consulting, product management, business analysis or solutions roles, with a track record in AI, automation or digital transformation.
• Demonstrable experience leading client discoveries, workshops or deep‑dive sessions with senior stakeholders.
• Strong process and data modelling skills (flowcharts, decision points, system mapping, integration touchpoints).
• Comfortable navigating ERP and legacy system landscapes. You do not need to build them, but you can read them and ask the right questions.
• Hands‑on experience with modern AI tooling: LLMs, prompt design, transcript analysis, and AI‑assisted document and flow generation.
• Strong written & spoken communication in both Dutch and English. You can write a follow‑up email, a discovery report and a board‑level presentation with the same clarity.
• Confident in C‑level conversations and capable of delivering unwelcome but accurate messages with tact.
• Self‑directed. You can run a five‑figure discovery engagement without weekly oversight.
• Based in the Netherlands and willing to work from our Eindhoven office (hybrid work policy).
