Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is building a dedicated AI risk management team under the CRO umbrella to govern operational risks from AI usage and model deployment.

You will shape risk frameworks, collaborate across risk, tech, data, and governance, and help mature practices for responsible AI across the organisation. Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, preferably operational IT or technology risk.
• Expert knowledge of (gen)AI and related concepts.
• Experience with AI governance and regulatory developments related to AI.
• Understanding of risk management frameworks, control design, governance and oversight.
• Ability to identify and assess risks in complex processes and systems.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Structured, analytical and pragmatic way of working.
• Curiosity and willingness to build expertise in a fast-developing field.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage operational risks related to AI systems and models.
• Design and implement risk frameworks, standards, guidance and governance for AI risks.
• Coordinate AI risk activities across disciplines and units with risk colleagues and CDO/CISO/P&T.
• Collaborate with first line stakeholders (CDO, CISO, P&T, client units) and support units.
• Challenge and advise stakeholders on responsible AI use and risk controls.
• Contribute to management information, reporting and oversight on AI risks.
• Monitor regulatory expectations and internal policies for AI risk management.
• Drive awareness, knowledge sharing and capability building on AI risk management.
