Job summary

Bynder Labs in the Netherlands is looking for an AI Research Intern to work with a Machine Learning Engineer/Data Scientist mentor on real epics of our AI roadmap. You will own a focused research slice, build prototypes with modern AI tooling, and design rigorous evaluations on real data.

The internship lasts six months, full-time starting October 2026, with anchor days in Amsterdam or Rotterdam. You should be enrolled in a Dutch university and possess strong Python skills and ML framework

Qualifications

• 6 months full-time internship starting October 2026.
• Enrollment at a Dutch university throughout the internship.
• Based in the Netherlands with anchor days in Amsterdam or Rotterdam.
• Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a focused research question and drive it from literature review to evaluated experiments.
• Build prototypes and experiments using modern AI tooling and ML models.
• Design rigorous evaluations for non-deterministic AI systems and report results clearly.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ship outcomes within Labs.
