Job summary

FieldBuddy is seeking a hands-on marketing intern in Amsterdam to turn AI tools into scalable marketing machinery. You will build AI agents, automation flows, and smarter campaigns for a SaaS marketing team over 4 to 6 months.

You’ll work with marketing managers, designers, and developers, gaining real ownership from day one. The role emphasizes learning, execution, and delivering measurable results that the team will rely on.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s program in marketing, communication, business, data, or a technical field.
• Hands-on with AI tools and a desire to build autonomous processes.
• Comfortable with both creative tasks (copy, campaigns) and technical tools or data.
• Experience with automation platforms or a CRM is a plus; curiosity is essential.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build marketing automation flows: email sequences, lead nurturing, and lead scoring in Salesforce.
• Leverage AI tools to automate content production, campaign copy, translations, and repetitive tasks.
• Design AI agents and workflows that save hours weekly and document them for long-term use.
• Test, measure, and optimize automations based on performance data.
• Pitch ideas and autonomously identify processes to automate.

Everyone's talking about AI in marketing. Far fewer people are actually building with it. That's exactly what you'll do at FieldBuddy: turn AI tools and automation ideas into marketing machinery that runs every single day.

We're looking for an ambitious bachelor's or master's student for a hands-on internship at a SaaS company in Amsterdam. You'll spend 4 to 6 months building AI agents, automation flows, and smarter campaigns for our marketing team. Not as an experiment on the side, but as work the team relies on.

What you'll do

Your first weeks are about getting to know our product, our customers, and how field service companies buy software. After that, you'll build. You'll work side by side with our marketing managers, designers, and developers, and you'll get real ownership from day one.

• Build marketing automation flows: email sequences, lead nurturing, and lead scoring in and around our Salesforce CRM.

• Put AI tools like Claude to work for the team: automate content production, campaign copy, translations, and repetitive marketing tasks.

• Design AI agents and workflows that save the team hours every week, and document them so they keep running long after your internship ends.

• Test, measure, and improve. You'll see exactly which of your automations bring in leads and which don't, and you'll adjust based on the numbers.

• Pitch your own ideas. If you spot a process that can be automated, it's yours.

Who you are

• A bachelor's or master's student in marketing, communication, business, data, or a technical field.

• You've already played around with AI tools and want to go beyond prompting: you want to build things that run on their own.

• You like both the creative side (copy, campaigns) and the technical side (tools, data, logic).

• Experience with automation platforms like Zapier or Make, or with a CRM like Salesforce, is a plus. Curiosity is a must.

• Hands-on, precise, and comfortable figuring things out on your own.

• Fluent in English, written and spoken. Dutch is a plus, not a requirement.

• Available for 4 to 6 months, as a regular internship or a thesis project.
