Job summary

Bluebird is seeking an AI Automation Lead in Amsterdam (Hybrid) to own and scale automated workflows and AI tooling. You will build internal tooling, shape product onboarding flows, and manage external tools, directly supporting Merchant Success, Sales, Product, and Tech teams.

You will work closely with the C-suite from day one, enjoying ownership and rapid impact in a fast-growing, freshly funded SaaS startup in the food & beverage space.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Lovable, HubSpot, AI workflow tools, API integrations, no-code/low-code, or workflow automation.
• Fluent English is essential; Dutch or German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal tooling using Lovable and Claude to automate manual work.
• Shape parts of the product, including self-service onboarding flow (registration, Stripe, KYC, HubSpot sync).
• Select, implement and manage external tools like Intercom and Localize.
• Support Merchant Success, Sales, Product, and Tech by solving workflow bottlenecks.

Our client is a freshly funded food & beverage SaaS startup helping independent entrepreneurs grow, and we're building the team that makes it all run. You'd be working directly with C-suite from day one, with real ownership and no corporate layers in between.

Why this role exists

Fresh funding, fast growth. We need someone to own the engine that powers it. You'll take full ownership of our automations, tooling, and AI workflows so every team can move faster and we can scale without friction.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain internal tooling using Lovable, Claude, and other AI tools: turning repetitive manual work into automated, scalable processes
• Build and shape parts of the product: including our self-service merchant onboarding flow (registration, Stripe, KYC, HubSpot sync)
• Select, implement, and manage external tools like Intercom, Localize, and others
• Support Merchant Success, Sales, Product, and Tech by solving workflow and tooling bottlenecks

What we're looking for

• A builder: eager, hands‑on, figures things out and knows when to check in
• Someone who understands both operations and tooling, not just one or the other
• Hands‑on experience with any of: Lovable, HubSpot, AI workflow tools, API integrations, no-code/low-code, or workflow automation
• Dutch or German language skills are a plus. Fluent English is essential
