Job description

Turn AI regulation into controls, evidence and enterprise readiness

The opportunity

ObjectivEye operates in regulated environments where customers need more than a legal interpretation of AI rules. They need to know how requirements translate into the product, decision process, controls, responsibilities and evidence they can actually audit. This internship is therefore deliberately positioned between research and implementation: you investigate what regulation and enterprise governance require, translate that into practical requirements, and help implement those requirements in ObjectivEye’s product, processes and customer-readiness framework.

Mission: Move AI governance from research and interpretation to practical implementation, controls and evidence.

What you will work on
  • Map applicable EU AI Act, GDPR and related governance requirements to ObjectivEye’s product, processes and customer use cases.
  • Support DPIA, privacy and AI-risk documentation, including the evidence needed to substantiate controls.
  • Define practical requirements for transparency, explainability, human oversight, accountability and risk management.
  • Translate regulatory obligations into product requirements, process controls, owners and testable evidence.
  • Build and maintain a structured governance, controls and evidence library that can scale across customers.
  • Analyse and support customer AI, privacy, security and governance questionnaires and identify recurring enterprise requirements.
  • Support enterprise procurement, DPIA/AI assessments and due-diligence processes with reusable documentation.
  • Help develop a customer-facing AI Governance Pack and dashboard/reporting requirements for audit and compliance conversations.
Who we are looking for

Relevant study backgrounds include: Law & Technology, Law and Digital Technologies, IT/Privacy Law, Technology & Policy, Public Administration & Digitalisation, Information Management, Data/AI Governance, Responsible AI, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance or a comparable interdisciplinary programme.

We are not looking for a purely legal research profile. We are looking for someone who wants to take the next step from research to practice. The strongest candidate is curious about how regulation works in a real AI product and enterprise environment: what exactly must change in the system or process, which control is needed, who owns it, how it can be implemented and how ObjectivEye can demonstrate that it works. You are analytical, structured and precise, but also pragmatic and action-oriented. You are comfortable working with legal, product, AI and business colleagues and want to leave behind frameworks, controls and evidence that are actually used.

What success looks like
  • Research applicable AI, privacy and governance requirements and distinguish what is relevant for ObjectivEye.
  • Translate findings into concrete product or process requirements rather than stopping at legal analysis.
  • Help define and implement controls, ownership and supporting evidence.
  • Test whether documentation and controls answer real enterprise customer, procurement and audit questions.
  • Create reusable governance assets that remain useful after the internship.
Internship assignment

How can ObjectivEye research, interpret and operationalise AI-governance requirements into a scalable control, evidence and customer-readiness framework — and implement this framework in day-to-day product, process and enterprise customer work?

Potential deliverables: applicability and requirements mapping, AI risk/control matrix, requirement-to-evidence traceability, evidence library, DPIA/AI assessment support, governance roles and responsibilities, customer questionnaire library and a reusable AI Governance Pack.

What you will gain
  • Direct exposure to a TNO spin-off working with government, financial institutions and other regulated organisations.
  • Ownership of tangible outputs used in real product, customer, procurement and governance work.
  • Close collaboration with ObjectivEye’s leadership, AI/product team and delivery specialists.
  • Experience at the intersection of AI, the EU AI Act, privacy, product governance, enterprise procurement and responsible innovation.
