Job summary

Suitsupply is seeking an AI Engineer to embed with teams, turning business processes into automated, production-grade tool-calling workflows on our GCP data platform. You will shape reusable skills and templates, establishing standards for accuracy, cost, and data handling as you scale with the Data & AI team.

Qualifications

• Production software engineer with strong Python and fundamentals in testing, APIs, version control, and observability.
• Experience building agentic workflows, RAG, and tool-calling systems in production.
• Fluent with GCP and Vertex AI, comfortable with Claude ecosystem (Claude Code, MCP), and BigQuery.
• Forward-deployed mindset; translate business problems into technical plans for directors and engineers.
• Approximately 5+ years in software engineering with production AI experience.

Responsibilities

• Embed with teams to map processes and identify the highest-leverage automation opportunity.
• Build tool-calling agents that run production-grade workflows.
• Turn builds into reusable skills, connectors, evals, and templates to speed future work.
• Deliver handoff with runbook, eval framework, and named owner.
• Define metrics and guardrails for agent quality, cost and sensitive-data handling; mentor champions.
