Wypoon Technologies in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced AI engineer to design and build production-grade AI agents, LLM-powered apps, and scalable platforms for enterprise clients. You will work with Azure OpenAI, AKS, Docker, and CI/CD to deploy robust solutions for customers like Heineken, ING, ASML, Philips and Shell.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software/AI engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and production-grade app development.
• Hands-on Azure cloud and cloud-native development experience.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
• Experience deploying AI/ML and LLM-powered solutions in real environments.
• Familiarity with OpenAI/Generative AI tech and MLOps basics.
• Experience with REST APIs and modern software architectures.
• CI/CD pipelines and production deployment practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI applications and services using Python and Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain cloud-native AI solutions using Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML and LLM-powered solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data sources.
• Work with Generative AI technologies, including Azure OpenAI, RAG architectures, and AI agents, depending on project requirements.
• Contribute to the deployment, monitoring, security, and performance optimization of AI applications in production.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to deliver reliable and scalable AI solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and system reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or related technical roles, including hands-on AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience developing production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native application development.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience developing, integrating, or deploying AI/ML solutions in real-world environments.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI technologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend development, and modern software architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and production deployment practices.
• Understanding of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures.
• Experience with modern AI technologies and architectures, such as RAG, vector databases, Azure AI Search, or AI agents.
• Familiarity with AI deployment and operational practices, including MLOps/LLMOps, infrastructure automation, or monitoring and observability.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Knowledge of AI security, evaluation, guardrails, and performance optimization.
