Channable in Utrecht is seeking a software/AI-focused engineer to join our AI team and help build machine learning features that power our core product. The role emphasizes collaboration with Product and other Engineering teams to transform data into structured attributes and high-quality AI solutions.

You will work with Python stacks (FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy) and databases like PostgreSQL, Polars, and DuckDB, while applying ML approaches and NLP concepts.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of working experience in software engineering or AI/ML engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI features end-to-end.
• Lead projects in close collaboration with Product and other Engineering teams.
• Leverage our proprietary training data to develop or improve AI models.
• Maintain our model training and serving infrastructure using both internal and external tools.
