Job summary

McKinsey & Company seeks a Learning Design Expert to join the Learning Design, Innovation, and Analytics Center of Excellence in a hybrid model based near one of our offices. You will design and develop innovative learning interventions combining learning science, technology, and AI to improve leadership capabilities.

You will collaborate with Global L&D, regional teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure high-quality programs with measurable impact, including apprenticeship and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• University degree in instructional/learning design or related field.
• 6+ years' experience in instructional content development.
• Deep learning science and human-development fluency.
• Ability to see a project as part of a larger development ecosystem.
• Knowledge of Agile project management principles.
• Experience with Articulate Suite.
• Experience with evolving AI tools.
• Ability to create reusable agentic learning components.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a wide range of learning interventions.
• Collaborate with Global L&D, Regional L&D, People, technology, and data.
• Lead end-to-end design from needs through learning experiences including apprenticeship and AI-based coaching.
• Develop AI-enabled modular content and guardrails for quality and consistency.
• Travel occasionally for project meetings and program deliveries.
• Drive measurable impact through performance-based learning solutions.
